Toto and Todd Rundgren Set 2027 Tour Run During Toto’s 50th

By Cole Brennan

Toto’s 50th anniversary year will include a short run with Todd Rundgren, giving rock fans a tidy two-name bill to keep an eye on for 2027.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Toto and Rundgren will team up for seven announced concerts starting in June. Tickets for those dates are scheduled to go on sale Friday, October 23, 2026.

The run is set to begin June 16, 2027, at 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland. It is scheduled to wrap June 25, 2027, at OVO Wembley Arena in London, England.

That is a compact stretch, not a sprawling “clear your calendar for the next fiscal quarter” situation. Seven shows, two names, and one anniversary year doing a lot of the talking.

Why the timing matters

The dates coincide with Toto celebrating its 50th anniversary, which gives the tour more weight than a standard summer booking. Anniversary tours tend to pull attention from longtime listeners who know the records front to back, and from newer fans who want to catch a band when the set list conversation gets a little more interesting.

For Toto, the milestone puts the focus back on the long arc of the band. A 50th anniversary is not just a round number for a poster. It is a reminder that some catalogs keep circulating because people still want to hear those songs in a room with other people, not just as background noise while arguing with a smart speaker.

Rundgren’s addition also makes the bill more notable for classic rock fans. The pairing gives the announced shows a broader pull than a single-act anniversary stop, especially for listeners who follow artists with long-running, loyal audiences.

Toto has more 2027 shows listed

Ultimate Classic Rock also reports that Toto has more than 20 additional 2027 headlining shows overseas listed without Rundgren.

That means the Rundgren dates are not the whole Toto 2027 picture. They are a specific run inside a larger overseas schedule, at least based on what has been announced so far.

For fans tracking travel plans, that distinction matters. The seven Toto-and-Rundgren shows are the joint concerts. The other listed Toto dates are headlining shows without Rundgren, so it is worth checking the specific listing before assuming who is on the bill. A small detail, yes, but a useful one. Nobody wants to learn concert math the hard way.

What has been announced

Here is the short version:

  • Toto and Todd Rundgren will team for seven 2027 dates.
  • The joint run starts June 16, 2027, in Dublin, Ireland.
  • The joint run ends June 25, 2027, in London, England.
  • Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, October 23, 2026.
  • Toto also has more than 20 additional 2027 overseas headlining shows listed without Rundgren.

For Coyote Rock 101.1 listeners, this is one to file under “worth watching,” especially if Toto’s 50th anniversary year is already on your radar.
