Slash Sets ‘Flying Blind’ Album and 2027 World Tour
By Cole Brennan

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Slash has a new solo record on the runway. The Guns N’ Roses guitarist will release his seventh solo album, Flying Blind, on February 26, 2027.
The first single is the title track, “Flying Blind,” which gives fans the first look at where this version of Slash’s solo band is headed next. Nice of him to name the song, the album, and the general aviation warning all in one shot.
The band is back in place
Slash is joined on the album by Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators: Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz and Frank Sidoris.
That lineup matters. For a lot of rock fans, Slash’s solo work with Kennedy and the Conspirators has become its own lane, separate from the Guns N’ Roses conversation but still built around the same obvious center of gravity: Slash’s guitar tone and feel.
Ultimate Classic Rock reports that Flying Blind will be Slash’s first collection of all-new music since 2022’s 4. That gives the album a little extra weight for anyone who has been waiting to hear what this band would do next in the studio.
What Slash says about the record
In a press release cited by Ultimate Classic Rock, Slash described Flying Blind as “a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record.”
That is a pretty direct mission statement. No concept-map required. No 47-minute explanation involving a desert, a mirror, and “the duality of man.” Just a rock ’n’ roll record that, by Slash’s own description, sounds like it was built with some movement in it.
For fans, the word spontaneous is the one to circle. Slash’s best moments tend to land when the playing feels alive instead of polished into furniture. The notes do not say much yet about the rest of the album, but the setup points toward a band record rather than a guitar showcase floating in space.
Tour plans are already on the books
Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators will begin a world tour in support of Flying Blind in April 2027, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
That timing gives the album a little room to breathe before the tour starts. Fans will have the new songs in hand first, then the band takes them out on the road. Sensible. Dangerous concept.
For Coyote Rock 101.1 listeners, this is one to keep on the radar: new Slash music in February, then the road in April.
