Phoebe Bridgers Debuts New Track “Lost Boys” Alongside a Children’s Band on The Tonight Show

The singer-songwriter’s upcoming album is scheduled for release on Aug. 14.
Phoebe Bridgers delivered a memorable performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon by debuting her new single, “Lost Boys,” alongside a band made up of young musicians.
During the Tuesday, July 14 episode, host Jimmy Fallon introduced the 31-year-old singer-songwriter before she began performing the track. As the song progressed, the camera gradually revealed a group of children accompanying Bridgers on instruments and backing vocals, creating a unique and playful stage presentation.
“Lost Boys,” inspired by imagery from Peter Pan, serves as the lead single from Bridgers’ upcoming solo album, Lost Weekend.
The track was produced by Tony Berg, Ethan Gruska, Jack Antonoff, Alex G, and Bridgers herself. It also includes background vocals from her Boygenius bandmates, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, along with additional instrumentation by Antonoff.
Bridgers first unveiled the song on June 26 alongside its official music video. The visual follows her riding on the back of a knight’s motorcycle through suburban streets before joining a group of live-action role players (LARPers) for dinner. In another scene, a convenience store cashier portrayed by Skyler Gisondo becomes captivated by her, and the pair eventually find themselves inside a retro-style video game.
Lost Weekend will be Bridgers’ first solo album in six years. She has also announced The Lost Tour, which begins on Sept. 14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis before making stops in major cities including Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, and Los Angeles.
The tour will also include performances in Toronto and Vancouver before continuing across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe throughout November. The final scheduled show is set for Dec. 12 in Stockholm.
According to a press release, every concert on the arena tour will be phone-free. Upon entering each venue, attendees will have their phones, smartwatches, and similar devices secured in Yondr pouches, which they will keep with them throughout the event. Anyone found using an unauthorized device during the performance may be removed from the venue, while guests are encouraged to bring a credit card for purchases inside the arena.
