Ozzy Osbourne’s family is firing back at Roger Waters’ recent remarks with a bold piece of merchandise.
Following Waters, 82, saying in an interview that he “couldn’t give a f—” about Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath, the official Ozzy shop unveiled a T-shirt seemingly aimed at the Pink Floyd musician. The back of the shirt depicts a person in an Ozzy tee urinating a rainbow onto what resembles the cover of Waters’ 1990 album The Wall: Live in Berlin.
The shirt reads “Another Prick in the Wall” in Pink Floyd-style lettering, a playful reference to the band’s 1979 hit “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.” The front features the same album cover with “OZZY RULES” scrawled across it in graffiti-style text. According to the product description, available for just 48 hours, “Well… Ozzy RULES, and that’s all we have to say.”
The feud began in August, shortly after Ozzy’s death on July 22 at 76, when Waters told The Independent Ink that he had no interest in Black Sabbath. “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. I have no interest. I couldn’t care less,” Waters said. “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him… although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.”
Ozzy’s son, Jack Osbourne, responded in September via Instagram Stories: “Hey @rogerwaters. F— You. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls— in the press.” He added, “My father always thought you were a c— — thanks for proving him right 🤡,” and shared another Story with the hashtag “#f—rogerwaters.”
The family further addressed their disdain for Waters on The Osbournes podcast in November. Sharon Osbourne, 73, called Waters “one of the most twisted, sick individuals I’ve come across in years.” Kelly Osbourne, 41, described him as “repulsively superior” with a “superiority complex,” while Sharon added that he is “boring” and “lacks charisma and stage presence.” Jack remarked that it was “funny” that the response he gave generated probably more media attention than Waters had in years.
Jack also recalled his father’s private opinions of Waters: “Dad would always say, ‘I love Pink Floyd, I f—ing hate Roger Waters.’ But Dad would never say it publicly because you don’t do that. All Waters had to do was say, ‘I didn’t really know Ozzy’s music very well. It’s sad for his family.’ That’s all — keep it simple and clean. Instead, he chose to punch down.”
