Ozzy has stated that he has no plans to perform a full set with Black Sabbath, mentioning that he’ll only take part in “little bits and pieces” during their final reunion show.

Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert is scheduled for July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK.

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that he’ll only be performing “little bits and pieces” with Black Sabbath during their Back to the Beginning reunion show later this year.

The legendary frontman, who last performed a full set at his New Year’s Eve Ozzfest show at The Forum in Inglewood, CA, in 2018, shared the update on the latest episode of Ozzy Speaks, his Sirius XM show co-hosted with Billy Morrison.

“I’m not planning on doing a full set with Black Sabbath, but I will be joining them for certain moments,” Ozzy explained. “I’ll do what I can, as long as I feel comfortable.”

In 2022, Ozzy Osbourne disclosed that he had been battling Parkinson’s Disease for nearly two decades. Last year, he delivered his Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction speech while seated.

Last month, it was confirmed that Black Sabbath’s original lineup will reunite for one final performance this summer—their first since wrapping up The End tour in 2017.

The Back to the Beginning event, a one-day festival, will also mark Ozzy’s last solo performance. The lineup includes Metallica, Slayer, Gojira, Anthrax, Lamb of God, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, and Mastodon. Special appearances will feature Billy Corgan, Slash, Duff McKagan, Fred Durst, Jonathan Davis, Wolfgang Van Halen, Papa V Perpetua, Sammy Hagar, Zakk Wylde, Jake E. Lee, and more. Tom Morello will serve as the event’s musical director.

Last week, Billy Morrison unveiled a music video for Gods of Rock N Roll, featuring Ozzy Osbourne on vocals. The track is a reimagined version of Gods from Morrison’s 2015 solo album, God Shaped Hole, now enhanced with a new orchestral arrangement.
