“Pickle’s Back,” set to the melody of How You Remind Me by Nickelback, highlights the comeback of Cheetos’ Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle flavor.
Cheetos has rolled out a surprising collaboration featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Nickelback to mark the return of its Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle flavor.
In the promotional clip, the Savage rapper reacts with frustration after learning the spicy pickle variety was previously released as a limited-time item. Declaring that she needs it back, she tells her assistant to “make it happen,” but the request gets misunderstood as asking for a musical collaboration with Nickelback.
That mix-up sparks a humorous chain of events. Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger is shown on a call, double-checking the unusual request. The confusion ultimately leads to a parody music video titled “Pickle’s Back.”
In the spoof, Kroeger performs lyrics about the snack to the melody of How You Remind Me, the band’s 2001 hit. Megan later jumps in with her own playful verse, adding cheeky lines inspired by the bold flavor.
In a statement, Megan said teaming up with the brand felt natural, noting her well-known love of pairing pickles with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. She added that being part of the campaign to revive one of her favorite snack combinations made the collaboration even more meaningful.
Nickelback also shared their enthusiasm, saying they enjoyed poking fun at their own music while working with Megan on something unexpected. They described the experience as fun, energetic, and fueled by fans’ passion for the snack and its unique flavor.
According to the company, Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle became the fastest-selling limited-edition product in Cheetos history when it first launched. Alongside its return, the brand is also introducing Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs. Both versions are now available in stores across the country.
Cheetos added that fans can expect the same signature bold taste—and plenty of the brand’s iconic orange seasoning—with the returning products.
