Liam and Noel Gallagher Bring Oasis’ Reunion Story to Venice With ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ Documentary

The Oasis frontmen attended the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, Sept. 5, where they were there to celebrate the world premiere of their upcoming documentary for Disney+.
Oasis founding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher brought their unmistakable rockstar presence to the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of their new documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger.
The brothers appeared together on the red carpet Saturday, Sept. 5, marking the world premiere of the Disney+ film.
Both musicians opted for predominantly black outfits for the occasion. Liam, 53, completed his look with vintage-style sunglasses and white sneakers, while Noel, 59, paired his dark ensemble with black lace-up footwear.
The siblings appeared relaxed as they spoke to one another while posing for photographers. At one point, they even held hands as they made their way along the carpet.
The documentary follows the brothers as they reunited for the highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 tour, which marked one of the most significant rock reunions in recent years.
According to Disney, the film offers an optimistic behind-the-scenes look at the reunion, documenting the experiences of both the band and its fans throughout the worldwide tour. Viewers are given access to rehearsals, backstage moments and performances, along with the first joint interviews featuring Liam and Noel in more than two decades.
Beyond the concerts themselves, the documentary examines the emotional significance of Oasis’ return and the lasting influence the band’s music has had on fans around the globe.
Noel previously reflected on the reunion’s success in February while attending the BRIT Awards, where he received the Songwriter of the Year honor.
Looking back at the band’s 2025 performances, Noel said he believed the shows were even stronger than those Oasis performed during their original 1990s heyday.
He described performing alongside Liam again as one of the most remarkable experiences the band had ever shared. Noel also said the reunion’s achievements—including reaching No. 1 with their albums—were difficult to believe after such a long period apart.
Although he praised the entire run of concerts, Noel singled out the band’s performances in their hometown of Manchester as particularly meaningful.
Reflecting on those shows, he admitted that the experience left him almost speechless and suggested that the performances themselves said more than words could.
