In a recent interview with the Associated Press at an album launch event in New York City on May 5, guitarist Keith Richards said a tour is unlikely in 2025, but didn’t rule out future plans, noting, “We can talk next year. Possibly.”

He added that the band is currently focused on finishing and promoting the record before considering what comes next.

Frontman Mick Jagger also expressed enthusiasm about the idea of touring in support of the album, saying he would “love to tour” it once circumstances allow.

Jagger, 82, spoke about staying fit and disciplined to continue performing at his age, explaining that maintaining physical condition requires consistent effort. Richards, also 82, kept his answer simple, saying he intends to keep going “as long as you can.”

At the album launch event, the band also revealed that Foreign Tongues will feature collaborations with artists including Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
