Iron Maiden Adds Spring 2027 North American Dates

By Cole Brennan

Iron Maiden is keeping its 50th-anniversary Run for Your Lives tour moving into spring 2027, with 16 more North American shows now on the books.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the newly announced run starts April 14 at Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, and wraps May 16 with a festival appearance at Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland.

That is a healthy stretch of road work for a band already deep into a milestone tour. Apparently, the machinery still runs just fine. It may require a little more diesel than it used to, but the thing is moving.

Where the new run is headed

The 2027 North American dates include stops in several major markets, including Vancouver, Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta and Columbus. The full announcement covers 16 additional shows in all, aimed partly at places Iron Maiden did not hit on the recent U.S. and Canada leg.

Steve Harris said in the press release, according to Ultimate Classic Rock, that the band had been enjoying that recent North American stretch and wanted to reach areas it missed, especially the Northwest and Southeast.

That part matters. Anniversary tours can sometimes feel like a victory lap through the usual handful of cities. This one is adding some ground, and for fans who were not within striking distance of the previous leg, that is the difference between reading about the show and actually getting a shot at it.

Ticket details

Fans looking to get in early will have the first window next week:

  • Artist presale: Oct. 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time
  • General sale: Oct. 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time

The “local time” part is worth noting, because nobody needs a ticketing-site panic before coffee unless it is absolutely required.

Why this one matters

The Run for Your Lives tour is tied to Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary, which gives these dates more weight than a standard spring outing. For longtime fans, it is another chance to see the band frame its history on its own terms. For newer fans, it is a fairly direct route into why Maiden still commands this kind of attention after all these years.

The added Northwest and Southeast focus also gives the announcement some practical value. Not every fan can fly to another city for a concert, especially one attached to a major tour. More dates mean more people get a real chance, not just a nice poster to stare at online.

Iron Maiden’s spring 2027 North American run is now officially on the Coyote Rock 101.1 radar.
