Bon Jovi are set to release an expanded version of their 2024 album Forever, this time with a star-studded lineup of collaborators. The new project, titled Forever (Legendary Edition), arrives October 24 and will feature contributions from Bruce Springsteen, Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, James Bay, and several other guest artists.
“This album is more than just a collection of collaborations — it was born out of necessity,” Jon Bon Jovi explained in a statement. He reflected on his highly publicized vocal cord recovery during the release of the original Forever: “I was singing well in the studio, but the demands of touring were still just out of reach. Without the ability to tour at that time, I stayed in the studio and reached out to friends — incredible singers, musicians, and people I truly admire.”
The frontman said the end result brought a fresh spirit to the record: “It’s an album with a new perspective — one that shows we really do get by with a little help from our friends. I feel so much joy and gratitude putting this out, and I think that shines through in the music. There’s always something greater than me… and that’s we.”
The Legendary Edition also adds a brand-new opener, “Red, White & Jersey,” to the tracklist.
