With the added dates, the Eagles are set to perform 58 shows in total at the 20,000-seat Sphere, as Don Henley discusses plans for retirement.
Last November, country rock icons the Eagles revealed the “final” four shows of their ongoing residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Due to overwhelming demand, however, the band has added two more dates, extending their run into April.
The Eagles, who began their first Sphere performances in September 2024, will now play a total of 58 shows across 29 weekends, with the final concerts scheduled for April 10 and 11. By the end of the residency, the group will have performed for over a million fans, setting a new record for the venue and surpassing Dead & Company’s previous mark of 48 shows between May 2024 and May 2025.
Promoters promise that the performances will deliver an “immersive experience” and a deep connection to the Eagles’ legendary catalog, something unique to the Sphere. Ticket prices for the 20,000-seat arena start at $175, with the general sale for the newly added shows beginning Tuesday, February 17, at 10 a.m. Fans can also register for early access via the Eagles’ official website.
VIP packages, including “Experience & Hotel” and “VIP Experience & Hotel” options, are available. The latter, priced at $1,451, offers premium seating with guaranteed full-screen views, priority entry, a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort, airport transfers, a VIP fan experience, collectible Eagles keepsakes, and a souvenir laminate and lanyard.
Drummer Don Henley hinted that 2026 could mark the end of the band’s touring career. “Three of us are 78 now, including me,” he told CBS Sunday Morning. “We all have various ailments… 2026 will probably be it.”
The Sphere, which opened in 2023 with U2 performing 40 shows, has since hosted Phish (four shows), Dead & Company, Kenny Chesney (15 shows), the Backstreet Boys (35 shows), and The Zac Brown Band (six shows). Upcoming acts include Phish returning for nine shows in April, No Doubt for 18 dates in May, and Chesney again for 11 shows in June and July. Rumors suggest that Guns N’ Roses, Queen + Adam Lambert, and Metallica may also be in talks to perform at the venue.
The Eagles are set to return to the Sphere on February 20 for their next show.
