Mick Jagger, 82, Rings in the New Year With Animal Mask and Fire Breathers
Mick Jagger is proving that age is just a number!
On Thursday, January 1, the 82-year-old Rolling Stones frontman shared three photos from his New Year’s celebration on Instagram. At the party, he donned an animal-print mask and enjoyed a lively scene complete with fire breathers. In the caption, Jagger wished his followers, “Happy New Year everyone!”
In one image, Jagger is seen throwing his arms up in celebration with fireworks lighting the sky behind him. The second photo offers a blurrier version of the same moment, while the third captures him posing in front of a performer breathing fire, with a large “2026” display in the background.
Last month, USA Today reported that the Rolling Stones were offered a stadium tour across the U.K. and Europe but decided against it. A band representative explained that Keith Richards “wasn’t keen on a big stadium tour.”
The band’s most recent North American tour took place in 2024 to promote their 2023 album, Hackney Diamonds, which included guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Lady Gaga.
In December, Jagger and his fiancée, Melanie Hamrick, celebrated their son Deveraux’s 9th birthday. Hamrick shared several family photos on Instagram, writing, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY my Angel!!! ❤️😊🎂🎉🎈9 years old today!!!!! So proud to be his mama ❤️ everyday is the most wonderful adventure with my smart, wild, kind dev 😍.”
Back in May 2025, Hamrick playfully addressed her 44-year age difference with Jagger during an interview with the New York Post’s Page Six at the New York City Ballet Spring Gala. Laughing, she said, “He’s younger than me. He’s amazing, really is.”
