The performing arts center at Sayreville War Memorial High School has been renamed the Jon Bon Jovi Performing Arts Center.

Jon Bon Jovi holds various titles, and now one of them is tied to an auditorium in New Jersey.

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” rocker, 62, returned to his alma mater, Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, N.J., for the dedication ceremony of the newly named Jon Bon Jovi Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, October 1.

As reported by ABC 7, the Bon Jovi frontman attended Sayreville for his junior and senior years after starting at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen for his first two years.

“So humbled that Sayreville High named their performing arts center yesterday,” Bon Jovi shared alongside an Instagram carousel on Wednesday, October 2.

The post featured a photo of him standing in front of the auditorium, followed by an image of him posing with students in front of a mural created in his honor. The third photo included him and “Coach T,” a figure mentioned in his song “Just Older.”

“It was wonderful to see him and the future of Sayreville… Once a Bomber, always a Bomber,” Bon Jovi wrote at the end of his post, now officially inducted into the school’s hall of fame.

Additionally, Sayreville War Memorial High School announced on Instagram that its music suite has been renamed the Jon Bon Jovi Music Suite.

“In recognition of his induction into the high school’s Hall of Fame class, Bon Jovi donated a brand new, state-of-the-art recording studio to the high school’s performing arts department, along with a commemorative t-shirt,” the post stated.

“We are incredibly thankful for his donations, and the students and staff will remember this day forever,” the school added, highlighting that the singer “was also kind enough to participate in a question-and-answer segment with our students, as well as take photos and sign autographs.”

During his interaction with the students, the singer emphasized, “You are writing the story of your life,” according to My Central Jersey.
