Larkin Poe joins an impressive lineup for the Maid Of Stone festival, which already features Wolfmother, Mr. Big, Those Damn Crows, Gun, Blaze Bayley, and several others.

Roots rock duo Larkin Poe has been included in the lineup for this year’s Maid Of Stone festival. They are set to headline the Phoenix Stage on the festival’s final day, happening at Mote Park in Kent from Friday, July 19, to Sunday, July 21. Their addition adds to an already impressive roster that includes Mr. Big and Living Colour on Sunday, as well as Wolfmother and Those Damn Crows on Saturday.

This announcement follows Larkin Poe’s recent success at the Grammy Awards, where they won the Contemporary Blues award amidst competition from Samantha Fish And Jesse Dayton, Ruthie Foster, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Bettye LaVette.

“We are incredibly honored to receive such recognition from the blues community,” remarked the duo upon receiving their award. “Congratulations to all the other talented women in the ‘Contemporary Blues’ category for contributing to a female-dominated landscape in guitar music!”

Additional acts slated for this year’s Maid Of Stone festival encompass Gun, Blaze Bayley, and White Raven Down, who will kick off the opening night party on Friday. Joining them are Tyketto, Mason Hill, South of Salem, Jared James Nichols, The Commoners, When Rivers Meet, As December Falls, These Wicked Rivers, Preacher Stone, Ashen Reach, Blind River, Crowley, Darnell Cole and the Vibe, Phoenix Lake, The Hot One Two, Twister, Until 9, Black Roze, Big River, and Spyder Byte. The final lineup will be unveiled next week.

In addition to its musical lineup, Maid of Stone will showcase the customary attractions found at Mote Park, such as cask ales, street food vendors, a signing tent, a market, and an axe-throwing area. Attendees seeking a luxurious experience can opt for an upgraded VIP chillout area, while various camping, glamping, and motorhome ticket options are also up for grabs.

It’s worth noting that Mote Park was previously the venue for the now-defunct Ramblin’ Man Fair, which concluded its run in 2019. Maid of Stone made its debut with headlining acts Airbourne and Glenn Hughes.
