AC/DC has made a triumphant return, taking the stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, to conclude the second day of the highly anticipated Power Trip festival.

Following a set from Judas Priest, which was accompanied by the announcement of a new Priest album titled “Invincible Shield,” Brian Johnson led AC/DC through a 24-song set. This marked his first performance with the band since his departure after a show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO, in February 2026. It was also AC/DC’s first show since the conclusion of the Rock Or Bust tour in September 2016, where they were fronted by Axl Rose, and performed at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, USA.

AC/DC’s Power Trip set featured live debuts for two tracks from their 2020 album “Power Up,” namely “Demon Fire” and “Shot In The Dark.” The show opened with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” for the first time, a track that had not been performed in 20 years, although it was a regular fixture in the Axl Rose-fronted version of the band.

The first day of the Power Trip festival featured performances by Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden. The festival will conclude this evening, on October 8, with highly anticipated sets from Metallica and Tool.

A fan-captured video of the set opener, “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It),” is available, including a closing greeting to the audience from Brian Johnson. The full set can be found below.
